Hiring process

Five steps to your first shift

  1. 1Submit your application with your certificate and availability
  2. 2Screening call with a recruiter within two business days
  3. 3Document upload: ID, police / CRRP check, immunizations, registry number
  4. 4Short orientation on IPAC, transfers, fire and abuse-prevention procedures
  5. 5First shift offer — with the home, unit, role and rate confirmed in writing

What you'll need

Ontario

  • · PSW certificate from a NACC, Ministry-approved or community college program
  • · CNO registration in good standing for RN and RPN placements
  • · Vulnerable Sector Police Record Check within the last six months
  • · Two-step TB screening plus influenza and COVID-19 records per home policy

British Columbia

  • · BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry number, verified by us
  • · HCA certificate from a BC-recognized program or Registry-approved equivalency
  • · BCCNM registration for RN and LPN placements
  • · Criminal Record Review Program (CRRP) clearance for working with vulnerable adults
