About us

Built for senior homes, not for general labour

Personnel On Demand is a recruiting agency focused on one sector: the homes where Canada's seniors live. Care staff, support staff, management — and the physical resources that make a building safe to live in.

What we believe

Four rules we run on

Residents first

A shift filled by someone unprepared is worse than a shift left open. We would rather tell you we can't fill it than send the wrong person.

Continuity over churn

We push block bookings and returning workers so residents see the same faces, and your team stops re-orienting a stranger every week.

Paperwork is our job

Registries, screening, immunizations, insurance and coverage sit on our side of the line, documented and ready for your next inspection.

Workers we'd want caring for our own

Weekly pay, real orientation, honest shift details and someone answering the phone overnight. Treated well, people come back.

Where we operate

Two provinces now, more as the bench grows

We enter a province only when we can staff it properly — verified workers on the ground, registry access, and local dispatch. Alberta and Manitoba are next.

Ontario

Personal Support Worker (PSW)

Ontario homes are staffed against the direct-care hours target, and a single unfilled PSW line shows up in the next inspection. We hold a bench of screened PSWs, RPNs, dietary and housekeeping staff across the province so a call before 06:00 is normally covered for the day shift.

British Columbia

Health Care Aide / Care Aide (HCA)

In BC, nobody works a publicly funded care shift without a Care Aide Registry number. Every aide we send is Registry-listed and CRRP-cleared before dispatch, so your scheduler never has to chase paperwork at shift change.
